Seton Boys Football Club was founded in April 1995.
Founded by the clubs current President after moving to Port Seton in 1994 from the Scottish Borders town of Selkirk.
There was no youth football set up within the village of Port Seton at this time, the nearest clubs being in Prestonpans, Tranent & Haddington.
14 youngsters of differing ages made up the team who played in the very first friendly match versus Haddington Boys Club in April 1995.
To this day a number of these lads still play their football with Seton BC in the ranks of the u21s.
Over the last 15 years the club has grown steadily in size & stature & is now well known & regarded within football circles as a progressive youth football Club.
Seton BC presently has 24 volunteer coaches and a membership of over 240 youngsters. Currently operating 10 seperate squads from under 8s level up to and including under 21s.
The Club is fully affiliated to the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA).
We participate in various league associations throughout East Lothian and the Edinburgh area which are listed below. -
East Lothian Soccer 7s Development Association.
East of Scotland Soccer Development Association.
South East Region Youth F.A. Development.
South East Region Youth Football Association.
East of Scotland u21 Football Association.
The Club now in its 15th season has become well known and respected within the local community, the club being bestowed with a Community Achievement Award in 2004.
Teams within Seton Boys football Club have travelled & played against some superb opposition. Clubs from all over europe including teams from Scotland, England, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Holland, France, Germany and Czechoslovakia.
Seton Boys Football Club have their own definitive home kit & play in club colours of Yellow & Black Hoops.
We have always represented the community in a proud & dignified manner & have shown respect & due care for all who have been involved over the last 15 years.
Winners of the fair play trophy at the prestigious Blackpool Cup 2003.
Winners of the under 10s Blackpool Cup Tournament 2004 also 2005.
Winners of the under 14s Trophy and Glass Cup Final 2004.
Winners of the Eastern Region u16s Leaugue Cup 2006. Winners of the u13s M&L Cup Lancashire 2007.
